This film, taken from Roberto Saviano’s book, is a popular film in Italy and was the winner of Grand Prix in Cannes. The setting is set bleakly and impressively in dirty background to emphasize its gangster theme. The plot itself is set as no any police can be responsible to the transparent crimes being occurred in the story. In harmony with the crimes, the society in the story seems to support the gangster actions. This is not aimed to gain connection inviting characters empathy.
The film entitled Assassination of a High School President tends to be a dark comedy film directed by Brett Simon, a popular film director who was famous as a video clip and advertisement director and a lecturer of Berkeley University. The characters role-played in this film are the young actor of Rocket Science, Reece Thompson, the beautiful of The O.C, Mischa Barton, Michael Rapaport, till the superstar Bruce Willis who performed as a minor character.

In short, Bobby investigates Paul Moore Patrick James Taylor), a basketball star and a council president. His investigation results the jacking-up of his popularity and is praised by the whole students, headmaster, Kirkpatrick (Willis), and Moore’s girlfriend, Francesca.
