PUSH

Frankly speaking, this movie has a great potential to be a new franchise by performing its plot. The heroes who cannot maximize their potency, the main characters who can be met in daily life, illegal organization using its super power to do crime, the government who expose man act having super power for their businesses and the legend as well as history of super humans in this world are the story ring which are possibly performed in three separated movies. Moreover, the explanation of each individual super power is also an important part of this story.
Unfortunately, those things are not much presented in this movie because it is explained in hurry and trapped in an absurd plot. Besides presenting his smart idea, the film maker also points out his ridiculous thought. The director, Paul McGuigan, having unique characteristics deciding to take a long time to present unimportant things during duration fails to give viewers surprise in a short time. He also failed to do the same thing in Wicker Park and Lucky Number Slevin. It becomes worse by complicated script written by David Bourla that makes its viewers must involved orderly within its plot. Push is a nightmare of the movie lovers who expect a different sci-fi show.
