Anne Hathaway was worth giving Oscar nomination last time. Since acting in Princess Diaries,Anne acts well in drama genre as well as thriller one. Besides giving best performance in Rachel Getting Married, she also acts beautifully in thriller movie, Passengers. In this movie, Anne acts with Patrick Wilson, David Morse, Andre Braugher and Dianne Weist- even though they are mediocre actors but their actings are wonderful. Directing by Rodrigo Garcia, a Colombian director, Anne and other stars act impressively and seem comfortable in performing their each character. They show off their acting and their over acting freely.
Passengers is less attention and less of promotion. In fact it has brilliant theme to perform. Garcia much knows how to visualize the script made by Ronnie Christensen. Its plot is so slow and calm. The viewers expected to be patient and keep enjoying the movie. In climax, Garcia points out twist ending as its climax which are not predicted by the viewers. There is no scene of acts as well as ghost scenes in this supra-natural movie. Garcia doesn’t show this inference since the beginning because he doesn’t want viewers trapped by it. If you like such kinds of ending like The Other, The Orphanage and The Sixth Sense, this movie will remind you about that.
