Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li (2009)
Kreuk stars as Chun Li who experienced a traumatic tragedy dealing with her father when she was young. her father who is an international asian businessman believed killed in his own house by a murder named M. Bison (Mc Donough). the young Li becomes a concert pianist in Hong Kong. after the death of her mother, this young lady knows that her mother was killed indeed. then Chun Li’s father is kidnapped and locked up by Bison in a hi-tech prison. he is forced to do everything what Bison asks to do. if he disobeys this rule, his only daughter will be killed. knowing that fact, Chun Li decides to go to Bangkok looking for her father whle taking revenge.
In Thailand, Chun Li expects to meet Gen (Shou), an art of defence master who swears to God to change his sins. moreover, Gen teaches her a secret art of Order of the Web which can make him undefeatable. meanwhile, an interpol agent named Nash (Klein) friends with Maya (Bloodgood)- a Bangkok detective who wants to stop Bison in criminal world. those four people join together to bann Bison and his gang, including Balrogh (Duncan) and Vega (Taboo), once and for all. this movie is sterted by stating monologue uttered by Chun Li, then ended by accepting the invitation card of street fighter competition. in addition, she refuses it because she does not want to act in the following series.
Furthermore, the worst thing in this movie is the less of action scenes which are promised to perform. though it is performed, the act is quite short and does not consist of special fight. the fighting between Vega and Chun Li expected by viewers, for example, occures only in 30 seconds. Gen beats Balrog easily less than one minute by using steam pipe. another scene of act is about attacking to Bison’s base camp. it is so typical becaose of the the acting of foolish criminals killed easily by a group of police and superior heroesin about two minutes inly.
Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li is a tired boring activity to do. It is not like what anyone expect. The changing of action scenes by conflict of out law authority’s competition is an impotant thing that should not be done because the viewers expect to watch a good action movie. this movie makes Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li should be categoried direcltly to video than lengthen the bad point of view to game-adopted movie
