Martin Scorsese wants to make Leonardo DiCaprio become new Rober De Niro. The reason is that, Marty-Leo has very close relationship than reminds of Marty-Boby’s era. After getting a great success in The Departed, Marty asks Leo to cooperate for the four times in Shutter Island (Ashecliffe). This movie is taken from a novel entitled Shutter Island written by Dennis Lehane. As reminder, Lehane is a successful writer of Mystic River ang Gone Baby Gone full of critic praises. In this case, he tries a new job as executive producer. The script is arranged by Laetra Kalogidris whose works are Night Watch and Alexander.
Besides Leo DiCaprio, movie whose genre is thriller and setting in an island supported by such wonderful stars as Mark Ruffallo, Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams, Emily Mortimer, Patricia Clarkson, Max Von Sydow, Ted Levine, Elias Koteas and a new actor of Freddy “Nightmare on Elm Street” Kruger : Jackie Earle Haley. The process of shooting had been started in March 2008 until July 2008. it was located in Massachusetts, Connecticut. It is expected to get success as in The Departed (profit’s side especially), Shutter Island is released in October. Whether or not the result will be the same, the collaboration of Marty-Leo will keep going after this movie that is in a movie entitled The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt.
