There are many opinions for Sam Raimi. Sam is considered as a brilliant filmmaker. He seems very careful in making movies. He always focuses on his successful horror movie, Franchise Evil Dead and Superhero trilogy Spider-Man. Moreover, he considers his works as his hobby. After finishing the third sequel of Spider-Man, Sam tries to relax by working in horror territory which he likes most. This time he tries something new a theme that is an evil’s terror to a girl, Christine Brown (Alison Lohman) hurting an old woman’s heart. It is just so so theme with a simple cast however.
Besides supported by Lohman who is not quite popular yet, the movie entitled Drag Me to Hell is supported by the acting of Justin Long and David Paymer. As usual, Raimi’s horror project has similiarity with other producer, Robert G. Tapert that is the scripture is his own brother, Ivan Raimi.
